MAJOR TOM wasn’t born overnight. It came from years of dreaming, experimenting, evolving, and paying attention. To our guests, our team, and to that quiet internal sense of what feels right.
pull up a chair. take a taste. let the night unfold.
We’re proud to call RiNo home. You’ll find us on Larimer Street with seasonal dinner, a wine bar you can settle into, and a patio for outdoor dining when the weather cooperates. Whether it’s date night or a night out with friends, there’s a seat waiting at Major Tom.
You might remember Call, our original spot next to Beckon: an ambitious little bungalow with a loyal following and more than a few growing pains. After some wins, a few hard lessons, and a pandemic that turned the world upside down, we decided to start fresh.
The goal? Create a place that felt like us.
Relaxed. Genuine. Friendly. Delicious.
What started as a pared down wine bar became something more. A full kitchen, a thoughtful cellar, and a bar that’s never an afterthought. We tried ideas, kept what worked, and let the rest go. Over time, Major Tom became what it is now: a casual elegant neighborhood restaurant with seasonal dishes, standout drinks, and an easy come as you are energy.
We’re the sister restaurant to Beckon. Where Beckon is quiet and refined, Major Tom is open, vibrant, and a little unexpected. The kind of place we’d choose on our own night off.

Kevin Oster, our farm manager, helps keep our ingredients as fresh and local as possible, especially during Colorado’s growing season.
Joe Freeman, a talented photographer and longtime friend, captured many of the images you’ll see on this site. His work helps tell our story visually, and we’re lucky to have him along for the ride.
